Accommodation

The accommodation offers seven berths with two separate double cabins outside the saloon with excellent headroom. V berth forward with stowage under. Hatch to foredeck. Hanging locker with washbasin opposite.

In saloon, dinette to starboard with settee opposite. Saloon table with extension. Chart table to port, forward facing, with full instrumentation and 12V socket. L shaped galley opposite. Two burner gimballed Neptune gas cooker with grill and oven (new 2016. Coolbox with refrigeration unit. Twin stainless steel sinks. 300 litre water capacity supplying hot and cold pressurised water to galley, heads, shower and forecabin.

Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet, washbasin and shower. Large double cabin to starboard with hanging locker. Blue upholstery throughout (new upholstery in the saloon in 2019). Teak and holly saloon sole and carpets in cabins. Eberspacher central heating system. New carpets to saloon in 2019.

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway stairs is the Volvo Penta MD2040 fitted in 1999. 40hp, 3 cylinders, fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft driven with a rope cutter. Engine was fully rebuilt in 2014 by French Marine Motors in 2014. Regularly serviced by them every year (invoices available). Cutlass bearing changed in 2021. 150 litre plastic fuel tank.

Construction

Sun Odyssey 36.2 built in 1999 by Jeanneau to a design by Jacques Fauroux. White GRP hull. Alloy toe rail. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to decks. Cast iron fin keel. Spade rudder. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak laid cockpit seating, sole and transom step. Walk-through transom. Wheel steering system. Stainless steel pulpit, pushpit, stanchions and guard wires.

Owners Comments

"Hocus Pocus" has had three owners since was built in 1999. Since 2006 the boat has been owned and maintained by the present owners to a high standard. The boat has been lifted out of the water each year since 2006. No effort or expense has been spared in maintaining the look and mechanical condition of the boat.

The boat has been serviced each year by its experienced crew. Any complex or significant engineering tasks have been undertaken by the resident engineering team at Levington Marina, French Marine.

The company normally acts as brokers for the vendor who unless otherwise stated, is not selling in the course of a business. Whilst every care has been taken in the preparation of these particulars the correctness is not guaranteed and they are intended as a guide only and do not constitute a part of any contract. A prospective buyer is strongly advised to check these particulars and where appropriate and at his own expense to employ a qualified marine surveyor to carry out a survey and/or to have an engine trial conducted which if conducted by us shall not imply any liability on our part.
