She is a 52ft, 6’10”, 2 + 2 berth narrowboat, built by John White and fitted out by the original buyer in 1998. Powered by a Lombardini Focs 4 cylinder engine, Tawny has a traditional stern with a traditional layout, benefitting from polystyrene insulation.

Interior Features

From the Stern, step down to the engine bay, with new deck boards and covers to create more storage. Into the bedroom, there is a double permanent bed, with storage and a privacy curtain.

To the middle of the boat is the bathroom, featuring a shower over the bath, basin, and toilet (pump out).

In the kitchen, there is a newly fitted (Dec 24) 2 ring gas hob (Certificate of gas safe & install will be provided), combination microwave, and 230v under counter fridge. The living area includes a double sofa bed, solid fuel Morso Squirrel Stove, and access to the bow with a cratch cover. The boat also comes with a pram cover, which is currently stored away.

Additional Features

Tawny has instant hot water, one solar panel, a side hatch to the kitchen area, and a stainless steel water tank. There is a hull survey from when the current owners purchased, provided at the owner's discretion, and the interior has been recently painted.
