DESCRIPTION

Natasha is a very rare and beautiful 'belle epoque' gentleman's launch with exquisite stained glass windows throughout the cabin.

Natasha is a very rare and beautiful 'belle epoque' gentleman's launch with exquisite stained glass windows throughout the cabin. It is thought that the cabin was fitted at a later date, the elegant hull having been built with speed in mind by Leo Robinson of Oulton Broad in the early days of petrol engines when speed was the all important thing for an owner. Her cabin was no doubt fitted quite soon afterwards in the early nineteen thirties possibly by Brooke marine of Lowestoft.

When I first encountered Natasha she had been owned for many years by a family on the River Thames who used her for luxury charter from the Beetle and Wedge in Moulsford. She had a large engine box which dominated the forward cockpit. Subsequently I sold her to a private owner who loved the peace and quiet offered by electric power and had her converted to electric with a back up diesel generator. This leaves the forward cockpit much more open for guests to circulate. A large drop leaf table can be moved between the cockpit and the central cabin area depending on the weather.

Aft of the comfortable cabin is a galley with an Origo two burner hob, a fridge and a discreet loo in a lifting locker. There are velvet curtains and furnishings throughout and plenty of locker space.

The boat had a thorough check up and renovation last winter courtesy of Henwood and Dean boatbuilders and is now presented in tip top order. There is a coveted finger pontoon mooring at Hambleden Mill Marina near Henley on Thames which may be available by separate negotiation.

If silent cruising in a unique craft creates an attractive proposition for your boating life then please make an appointment with us to come and view Natasha on her mooring.
