The Moody 27 has a reputation for being a stiff and seaworthy cruising yacht. They were built by Marine Projects of Plymouth and the quality of build and interior teak joinery has passed the test of time extremely well. They sleep 5/6 in a forward double cabin, saloon and large quarter berth aft. The saloon is spacious with a folding table that will sit 6. The heads and galley are well laid out.
'Sixpence is in very good condition having been very well looked after by her present owner. Her interior woodwork and upholstery are both in very clean and nice condition, as are her topsides.
She has a large cockpit with a new soprayhood. She is easily sailed short handed, being equipped with autohelm, all lines are led aft and a genoa roller furler.
She is probably the best Moody 27 currently for sale in the UK.

The accommodation consists of 5/6 berths in two separate cabins with good headroom throughout (including the large toilet compartment). The spaciously attractive saloon area, with seating/eating arrangements for up to six, has plenty of storage space and a well-equipped galley that features a full-sized cooker, stainless steel sink and again plenty of dry storage. In addition, there are hanging lockers for both wet and dry clothing.
