Boat Overview

The Moody 34 is a renowned cruising yacht designed by Bill Dixon. This model is known for its excellent sailing performance, livability, style, and strength. The Moody 34 features a good sail area/displacement ratio, a long waterline, and a high prismatic coefficient, ensuring high average cruising speeds in various wind conditions. Its good ballast ratio and generous beam provide excellent stability.

The interior has been meticulously designed for comfort and practicality during long-distance sailing, particularly in the galley, chart space, and stowage arrangements. Bairneach is a fine example of this model, with the current owners having made several upgrades, including:

  • New Beta 38hp engine fitted in 2022
