With good directional stability the keel is longer than most boats of this generation.

Boat Overview

The Drumbeat Westerly Conway offers comfortable accommodation in three cabins while enabling fast sea passages. Designed by Laurent Giles, this powerful cruising boat features a fast, modern hull shape, an uncluttered deck with ample working space, and a spacious interior. The keel provides good directional stability and is longer than most boats of this generation. The hull has a generous beam, ensuring balance with minimal helm angle required to maintain a straight course, even when overpressed. The boat is equipped with bilge keels for drying out in harbors or shallow moorings. Recent upgrades include Tacktick and Raymarine instrumentation, along with new upholstery and foam in 2016, and new headlinings from 2023.
