History and ConstructionThe 35 was the first Nauticat in the range of pilothouse sailing yachts, offered with sloop rig as standard. Earlier ketch rigs had earned Nauticat an envious reputation, and the sailing and sea-keeping qualities of the 35 were instantly hailed as success. The size and accommodation of the aft cabin on the Nauticat 35 still leads modern yachts of comparable size. In present ownership for the last 7 years, Brise has covered 8,500 miles, travelling around the Baltic, Netherlands, UK, Ireland and Brittany. With only 2 previous owners, she is regretfully offered for sale due to ill health.

Mechanical SystemsThe Nauticat is powered via a Yanmar 4JH 2BE naturally aspirated 50hp four-cylinder diesel engine located midships Circa 3800 hours, oil changed every 200 hours, last serviced in November 2019. Shaft drive to a three bladed fixed propeller with rope cutter. Single lever Morse control plus wheel in cockpit and saloon. Fitted with a 7hp bowthruster. 2x 150 litre stainless steel fuel tanks. Cutlass bearing changed 2019, inboard shaft bearing replaced 2014, last out of water maintenance August 2020. Seacocks replaced 2017-19
Electrical System2 x 12-volt domestic batteries 110Ahx 12-volt engine battery 100Ah (2019) charging from the engine alternator, solar panel, Shore power connection for battery charger. water heated via calorifier. Low voltage LED lighting above and below decks.
