Remarks

The current and first owner is a very experienced cruising yachtsman. From the opportunity to buy the Sparkman and Stephens designed aluminium hull to the very high equipment specification and the meticulous project management during the construction, Silver Lining was conceptualised to be a safe family home for world travels.
After 50,000NM cruising visiting 40+ countries with his family (2 kids) and captain Silver Lining still presents fresh and does not show any unexpected wear and tear. The owner and his family have returned ashore after their 5 year sabbatical and offer Silver Lining for sale.
She has been kept in class (ABS A1) till 2015 but the owner felt that Class was not providing any benefit and let the Class Certificate lapse. This could be reinstated quite easily and the owner is prepared to do this if requested.
Original with dark blue topsides the owner realised that in the hot climates a dark colour creates unwanted interior heat and high maintenance topsides. He decided to repaint the hull in a light grey which presents as new.
Compared to the market supply Silver Lining presents exceptional value and being relatively new (2011) she does not require any major refitting. Instead she is ready to sail around the world with a new owner.
