This particular boat is the first of its kind and was built toward the end of the hand-laid fiberglass boat era. Being hull #1, she's a little heavier and more robust than later models in the line. If you want an idea of how tough she is, just check out the thick rub rail to know that it will take a lot to beat up this boat. The Ranger is propelled by a 2008 Mercury 200 Optimax 2-stroke outboard. This motor has 175 hours on the meter and is known for its reliability, easy maintenance, and great power to weight ratio. Two batteries with a switch bring the juice. This boat is fully equipped for your fishing needs. Six rocket launchers and four rod holders on the gunwales give you lots of options. The boat also comes with a set of 10' gunwale mounted outriggers for trolling. A tackle box storage space on one side of the helm and drawers on the other make this a fisherman's dream machine. Fish boxes in the cockpit floor and an in-floor live well round out the amenities. Up in the bow are three more big storage spaces including one centerline box that extends way back below the helm. There are six dive tank holders along the gunwales. The helm itself is equipped with a Lowrance GPS-fishfinder, VHF radio, stereo, and engine gauges new in 2018.
