BROKER COMMENTS

We are delighted to have taken on to our Yacht Brokerage this well presented Sadler 34 deep fin keel, built by Sadler Yachts  in 1988 ,which has an impressive array of well chosen electronics, including Comar AIS transmit and receive; C80 radar/plotter; TS400 Autopilot; Raymarine nav instruments; ICOM vhf and much more.

Now fitted with a new two-spreader Selden mast and new 200S Furlex, plus a  new standing rig, all within the past 10 years or so, complete with a splendid wardrobe of recent sails.

Power unit  is the trusted Volvo 2030, lifted out for comprehensive checks and minor repairs in 2021 complete with a repaint and new insulation.

Hull bottom has recently been stripped, epoxied and then copper-coat applied in 2020;  exterior woodwork in good condition, with cockpit seats recovered in teak and deck, recently repainted.

All the above work has had the benefit of a keen and experienced owner.

This well presented yacht is now available at an understandably slightly higher price at £37,500

The benefit is that in our opinion there will be very little further essential expenditure required for the next 10 years or so.

OWNERS COMMENTS "I bought freebird in 2019 and is a Hornet Yacht, I have sailed her on holidays to the channel islands and west country and most weekends around the solent and she has never let me down, Ive also done extensive work on her and spent a lot of money and can say with confidence that Freebird is a outstanding example of the sadler 34."

The Sadler 34 is a well proven offshore family cruiser, with a well deserved reputation for sea kindly performance. The double skin hull construction makes the sadler 34 unsinkable as well as providing insulation from both sound and temperature. Freebird was built in 1988 and is a deep fin version, ideal for offshore sailing and coastal sailing in comfort.
