The 280's console features a large bow flare for extreme off-shore ride, the electronics are flush mounted with cover with a centerline helm, nice sized windshield to protect from the elements when running through the chop, and a couple of built-in drink holders. Nice space between the leaning post and the helm. The sub-console head compartment has a surprising 6' 4" of headroom. The boat's batteries are also stored below, where they are easily accessible.
