Vessel is powered by a very reliable and economical Yanmar 1GM10. The age is unknown but it certainly isn't the original. The engine is in good shape and has an annual service. Most recent was in March of this year before the season started.
Engine is located beneath the companionway steps and is easily accessed for scheduled maintenance and daily checks.
Double lever engine controls with seperate gear selection and throttle. Engine start panel at companionway.
Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft with a bronze 3-bladed fixed propeller.
Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are operated by a rotary style battery selector. The batteries are housed below the pilot berth and well secured. Batteries recharged via the engine alternator. Shore power inlet and lead.
Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped, gold anodised aluminium mast. Simple and easy to use sail plan with a slab reefing main operated from the mast and a roller furling headsail with control winches mounted in the cockpit within easy reach of the helm. The mainsail has a smart navy blue sail kote. There is a rarely used spinnaker beneath the forward berth. Deck mounted spinnaker pole and associated halyards and winches should you fancy having a go.
The stainless steel standing rigging was replaced between 2016 and 2018 so well within date. The braid on braid running rigging is in good order.
Winches are all by Lewmar and in clude 2X40 Genoa sheet winches, 2X8 Spinnaker sheet winches and 3X8 halyard winches.
Well equipped yacht suitable for coastal cruising. Included in the sale are:
Below decks is bright and clean with easy clean leatherette upholstery in both cabins and white flowcoat head linings which complement the interior mahogany cabinet work.
Pilot berth to starboard which extends aft beneath the starboard cockpit bench. This is an ideal storage space for the likes of bedding when not being used.
Moving forward and at the rear end of the starboard settee is a small chart table with drawer chart storage. There is an extension piece for the chart table should it be required.
Both starboard and port settees have removable backrests which then act as comfortable lee boards. There is a saloon table but this is currently removed as not required by the present owners. The table is available on board.
To port of the companionway is the ergonomic galley which features a stainless steel sink, top loading larder and a gimballed methylated spirit stove with 2-burners. This is a cheap and highly efficient method of cooking. Plentiful storage in the hull mounted cupboards and beneath the saloon berths.
A sliding door in the forward bulkhead reveals a heads compartment to port and a hanging space to starboard. The heads has a pull out sink but the water has been disconnected as has the the galley sink.
In the bow is the forepeak double berth with excellent headroom, 12V lighting and an opening deck hatch for additional light and ventilation.
GRP Constructed yacht with encapsulated cast iron fin keel. The vessel is lifted ashore between November and March each year when the engine is winterised. Prior to launch the underwater areas are antifouled and the topsides polished. Most recent was in March of 2022.
Fine entry bow with cut away forefoot. 1.70M draft keel with bolts accessible from saloon. Propeller shaft is protected by a skeg. Skeg hung rudder.
Hull topsides in excellent condition with smart navy cove line. Hull to deck join finished is a teak rubbing strake.
Flush transom with removable auxiliary engine bracket. Deep cockpit with attractive teak grate in the sole and teak slatted locker tops. Light blue non slip decks.
Stainless steel bow and stern rails with stainless steel stanchions and uncoated guardwires. Teak grab rails in coachroof.
