DESCRIPTION

EXTENSIVE UPGRADES 

THE VIKING 43' CONVERTIBLE was in production for 12 years and has proven to be one of the

best Vikings ever built. Her 39,000 pound displacement and V hull with 15 degrees of deadrise

make her an exceptional performer in all sea conditions. She has the desirable two stateroom

option and preferable 600hp MANs with extra fuel capacity and is one of the first produced with

seamless windows.

EXTENSIVE UPGRADES 

THE VIKING 43' CONVERTIBLE was in production for 12 years and has proven to be one of the

seamless windows. She has many more key features which include a large 113 sq. ft. cockpit

that offers direct engine room access, large fish box, bait freezer and sink.

She also has a large fly bridge with wrap around seating and upgraded electronics.

Vessel Walkthrough

Upon boarding VALHALLA you will note her large cockpit (113 sq. ft.) which is outfitted for fishing and provides easy access for in-water activities as well as comfortable area for relaxing while aboard. From the cockpit forward you will find easy access to the spacious and well lit engine room. Bridge access is provided from the cockpit ladder which is offset to the port. The fly bridge offers an extensive helm and overhead console, great electronics, helm seating for captain and mate, and generous wrap around guest seating.

Moving forward from the cockpit a sliding salon door located to starboard provides cabin access. The salon is spacious with an L-shaped settee to port  and barstools at galley. The vessel's interior is comprised of rich, solid teak woodwork and cabinetry throughout, excellent detailing, and quality fabrics which renders an upscale level of fit and finish. The entertainment center is located forward in the salon to port. One step down and to starboard is the spacious well-equipped galley. Continuing forward and down two steps is the centerline companionway. The guest stateroom is to port followed by a closet with the stacked washer/dryer. To the starboard is the large head with stall shower and access to companionway as well as the master stateroom.
The well-appointed master stateroom with centerline queen berth is located forward.


Main Salon

Upon entering the Salon from the cockpit thru a sliding door to Starboard you will find this area to be very spacious and well appointed. It is a wonderful area to entertain or relax while aboard and is filled with natural light from the large windows, which can be covered with silhouette blinds for privacy. The Galley is to Starboard and allows the Chef to be part of the ongoing activity.

Comments

The Viking 43 Convertible earned a reputation over the years as a first-rate tournament fisherman and an excellent openwater Convertible.  The mid-level galley is wide open to the salon and the head compartment and master stateroom are both very spacious. The interior of the Viking 43 is comprised of rich teak cabinets and trim with quality appliances and rich designer fabrics—upscale accommodations indeed for a serious fishing boat. Topside, the flybridge is among the largest in her class and features an efficient wraparound helm console. The cockpit includes a transom door, molded tackle center, an in-deck fish box and direct engineroom access.
