Looking for an authentic boat ready to sail, with lots of allure? Look no further! With pain in our hearts we sell due to purchase of a charter ship, the Silveren Werelt, a Westerdijk sea scow from 1970. The jewel in the crown with original SABB diesel from the Westerdijk family that was used at the time for sales brochures. By an artist commissioned by the first owners, embellished with carvings in both sides of the cockpit and stained glass windows. The teak deck and teak floorboards in the cockpit complete the ship.

For 16 years, the Silveren Werelt has been in the hands of the current owners, who have carefully maintained the ship from bottom to top. The ship has been in the water from April to October and in the winter period in a heated ship's work shed. This is also where the maintenance was done.

In recent years the ship has been completely refurbished. Below the waterline is the last anti-fouling of January 2024, this includes the woodwork, paintwork around the cabin and spar. Above the waterline, the last paint job (two-component) is from March 2023. Also inside, the ship was completely varnished in the winter of 2023. So it is boarding and sailing away.

Features

• The functional kitchen is equipped with a two burner gas stove and a sink, the gas bun is located outside in the pantry.
• The folding table forms the center of a u-shaped interior seating area, where the widest part can be converted into a double bed. The bench on the starboard side converts into a small single bed.
• Midships is a chemical toilet (PortoPotti) and a sink.
• In the forecastle there are two spacious separate beds (single + doubter).
• Storage space is abundant both in the forecastle and amidships, as well as in the cabin.
• The ship comes with Mepal plates, some bowls/bowls and glassware and excl. rudderclick.

Current Status

The Silveren Werelt is still ashore in Sneek. When viewing the ship you can also inspect the hull. Because of the closed system the engine can be shown running. Inspection is of course allowed (k.k.).
