Beautiful, junk rigged schooner composite made of plywood, hard foam, glass and aramid fibre.

The junk rigged Hiehle schooner "LAN-AW" was designed by architect Max Hiehle and built by Johan Vels in Nieuwe Niedorp (Netherlands). The end result is a special appearance on the water and a boat suitable for a small crew. The design is well thought out and long stays on board are possible in both warm and cold areas. Due to the variable draught, a large sailing area is possible and one can easily be beached. The boat is easy to operate under sail as well as on the engine. Reefing or lowering of the sails can be done from the cockpit, the sail comes down by gravity and falls between the lazy-jacks.

The interior is designed to the human requirments. This means that there is plenty of room to move around and a lots of space in the sleeping cabin. Please read the detailed description of the owner/designer. You can find this at the extra documents.

This boat is mediated through the office White Whale Yachtbrokers Enkhuizen. If you are interested please contact us via enkhuizen@wwy.nl or +for more information or to make an appointment for a viewing on board. Viewings are possible from Monday to Saturday.
