Wide side decks and good handholds on the coach roof ensure safe passage to the bow. The granny bars at the mast serve multiple purposes.
Maroon Belle is a 2 cabin-2 head vessel designed for optimum livability. It features a spacious galley to starboard of the companionway, a navigation station with easy access to electronics and the electrical panel, a comfortable salon, and a large forward/master cabin with a centerline berth and en-suite head.
Maroon Belle has been well maintained and upgraded over time. She has primarily sailed in the Chesapeake Bay and south to Florida. The boat is equipped with cruising gear and equipment that facilitate single-handing or living aboard.
Equipment and Upgrades Include:The L-shaped galley runs along the starboard hull from just forward of the stairs to the aft bulkhead. It features Corian countertops, providing ample workspace and storage. A top-opening freezer and front-opening fridge & oven are located along the hull-side, with cabinets and drawer storage above and below counter level. The microwave oven is recessed into the aft bulkhead. A door at the rear of the galley leads into the cockpit locker, which can serve as additional pantry storage.
The aft cabin is to port of the companionway and includes a large double berth and storage locker. One of the cushions has been removed (but is available) to create centerline storage. The aft head can be accessed from the cabin or the salon. Between the head and the port settee is the forward-facing nav station with an ergonomically friendly seat that has storage below, along with the inverter. The nav station features the electrical panel to port and electronics positioned for easy monitoring of vessel systems.
The salon consists of a large U-shaped dinette to starboard, a bench amidships, and a 2-person settee to port. The bench provides additional storage. The table lowers to form a double berth and has a removable leaf, allowing seating for 6 when in place. Upholstery is cream ultra-leather, with peek-a-boo blinds on portlights. Overhead fixed windows provide light, and numerous hatches allow for ventilation.
The door to the forward/master cabin is offset to port. This cabin offers ample storage on both port and starboard sides, as well as under the bunk. It has three opening hatches for light and ventilation. The queen-sized berth features an inner spring mattress with foam topper and can be accessed from either side at the foot. The head is to starboard and includes a fresh water flush electric toilet, basin & vanity, and a separate shower stall.
