In 2001, he purchased an Admiral 38 hull, deck and bulkheads from then Admiral Yachts and fulfilling a lifelong dream, launched Songbird in 2001. Since then Tim continues to be inspired to build solid, beautiful boats. While completing Songbird, Tim saw the opportunity to build quality interiors for boats. This earned him a reputation for producing excellent workmanship and service within the yachting industry.
Constructed in a Sandwich construction with a vacuum bagged resin infused foam core, The Celtic 40 is a relatively light weight cruising catamaran that sails particularly well. This catamaran was built to sail around the world without compromising on comfort.

Steering Systems
Steering Consists of a twin rudder system with stainless shafts connected by an adjustable stainless connection rod. Delron bearings are used on the rudder shafts and the stainless steel arms are connected to the Whitlock steering system via stainless cable and a stainless chain. The autopilot drives directly onto the connection rod.
