Designed and built by McGruer & Co. of Scotland, she was yard No. 616.

An exquisite motor launch still fitted with her original Kelvin diesel engine.

The addition of the canvas spray hood around the bow adds some comfort and practicality, giving a dry space for kit when it is raining and somewhere sheltered when making into a head wind and choppy sea.

In poresent ownership for nearly 10 years, she has been wintered undercover every year and professionally maintained.

Construction

Carvel planked in mahogany all copper rivet fastened to fine and closely spaced steam bent oak timbers.

Solid mahogany transom and laminated stem.

Varnished mahogany coamings around the cockpit with an elegant curved forward coaming to which the spray hood is fitted.

Laid teak fore and aft decks with scrubbed teak covering boards all round.

Full length mahogany bench seat either side with varnished mahogany sole boards, inset with teak gratings.

Varnished mahogany engine box.

Machinery

Kelvin twin cylinder P2 10hp diesel engine installed in 1966. Fitted with electric and hand start.

Engine overhauled with new valves and a gearbox rebuild in 2018.

Mechanical gearbox to a fixed 3 blade bronze propeller. Traditional packed grease stern gland.

Stainless steel fuel tank of 25 litres under the foredeck.

Single 12 volt battery (2022) charged from the solar panel. No engine alternator.
