Launched in 1990 the Hallberg-Rassy 34 was a step change in the design style and configuration of the iconic centre cockpit Hallberg-Rassy designs. Remaining in production until 2005 the design was continually tweaked to improve her accommodation layout, with changes to bulkhead locations, head configuration and placing of portlights etc. Over 450 examples of the Hallberg-Rassy 34 were launched before the Hallberg-Rassy 342 replaced this popular design.

Accommodation Ideal cruising yacht for two or four, and even with six on board she has a degree of comfort usually only found on much larger boats.
The forward cabin has a bunk 2m long and 2m (max) wide, with hanging locker and ample cupboards, plus storage space underneath. The aft cabin has a double berth, 2.13m long and 2m wide (max), a hanging locker and cupboards
The saloon is well lit and ventilated. With two sofas (convertible into two further full length bunks) and a drop leaf table, it can seat 6 people comfortably. There are book cases and cupboards on both sides, plus a Pioneer stereo/CD player, clock and barometer and further storage under the sofas. Webasto heater with outlets serving all cabins and heads.
Chart Table with chart stowage, instrument rack and shelf. Electric switch panel includes: fuel, water and engine hour gauges, Mastervolt battery monitor, etc. Above the chart table, there is a Raymarine ST60 Multi Depth/Speed/Wind instrument, a ICS Navtex 6, and provision for mounting the chart plotter. Raymarine DSC VHF radio with additional speaker in cockpit. Navigator’s seat with good stowage below.
Galley: 2 ring ENO cooker and oven, powered by two 2.75kg Camping Gaz bottles stored in dedicated cockpit locker. Fridge. One deep sink with half size sink alongside with mixer tap , water filter and waste bin below. Manual fresh water foot pump. Ample storage at galley with four drawers and chopping board, and small drop leaf table. Opening window above galley.
Heads: Sea toilet with manual pump and holding tank. Wash basin with mixer tap, storage below and shower with teak grating. Insulated water-heater and shower waste pump.
