Boat Overview

The Starlight 30 is the cruising version of the Michael Pocock designed half tonner, offering excellent performance and spacious accommodation with 4 berths below. Twilight features a 2010 Yanmar diesel inboard engine. Presented in very smart condition, she must be viewed to be appreciated.

Accommodation

4 berths in 2 cabins with 5' 9" headroom. The forward cabin includes a double berth. The saloon features two settee berths and a chart table forward to starboard. The galley is located aft to port and includes:

  • Gas two burner cooker (with oven)
  • Microwave oven
  • Sink

There is a 100 litre water tank. The heads compartment is aft to starboard and includes a marine toilet and wash basin. The interior features carpets and cloth upholstery in good condition, providing a very light and airy atmosphere.

Mechanical Systems

In 2020, the fuel and water pumps were reconditioned and new fuel lines fitted. A new 100 litre fuel tank was installed in 2018. The engine has approximately 200 hours of use.

Electrical Systems

Equipped with 2 x 12 volt batteries charged by the alternator on the engine. 240V shore power is available for the battery charger.

Masthead Bermudan sloop with a keel stepped single spreader black anodised aluminium mast and boom. Features include:

Construction

Built in 1979 by Blue Water Yachts (Jersey) Ltd to a Michael Pocock design. The boat features a white GRP hull and superstructure, lead fin keel, spade hung rudder with tiller steering and tiller extension, and a self-draining cockpit. Last surveyed in 2018. The current owners purchased the vessel in 2020 and have used it locally only.
