A popular choice for the offshore cruising yachtsman the Vancouver 34 Classic has proven to be a reliable cruising yacht for cruising around the coast or crossing oceans. The long keel and cutter rig providing a balanced boat which is easy on her helmsman and crew in the most arduous of conditions.

BUILDERS COMMENT:
‘The Vancouver 34 is every inch and offshore cruiser. Under sail she has a light helm and is perfectly balanced in any wind strength making it easy work for the helmsman or self steering gear. The standard rig is strong (some say over specified) and supports the cutter rig. The Vancouver 34 is surprisingly fast under sail and high average speeds are possible which can be maintained for long periods: the ideal passagemaker.
The Vancouver 34 is a modern ‘classic’ and despite her long keel and heavy displacement is easy to manouever under sail or power. She is first choice for serious cruising. Comfortably wide decks and substantial guard rails provide safety and security at sea.
There is no doubt she is the perfect boat for heading off over the horizon’
