The Laurent Giles Columbia Class sloop is designed by Laurent Giles as an affordable, capable, and easily handled cruising boat.
This design features a reverse sheer to increase internal space, a deep self-draining cockpit, and watertight bulkheads fore and aft, which serve as dry stowage space and collision bulkheads. It is a mini blue water cruising yacht, far more capable than its dimensions suggest.
The current owner purchased the boat from the builder. It requires a small amount of work, including a cosmetic tidy-up, to prepare it for summer, but it appears to be structurally sound.
A very good quality single axle road trailer is also available for purchase through separate negotiation. This trailer fits the boat nicely, making it a cost-effective way to get afloat this summer.

Stainless steel standing rigging, believed to have been replaced in 2004.
