Boarding the La Motion 48 is easy from starboard and port stern boarding platforms and a gated step up to the main deck cockpit social area with seating, lounging platform and galley. This innovative “clubbing yacht” features additional storage, fridges, and seating areas on and below deck with plenty of space for water toys, food, beverages, and guests—more space than traditional 48ft yachts—by designing a wide-open main deck and a comfortable, flexible social space below deck in place of staterooms. The big sliding salon doors** and retractable front windows can be opened to enjoy sea breezes and outside deck space during pleasant weather.

Or relax in air-conditioned* comfort on low profile furniture designed for unobstructed views. The La Motion 48 seats eight for dining on the enclosed main deck and another eight in the interior space, at a table that can be lowered to coffee table level (which can optionally be configured with 1 or 2 staterooms). A concealed TV pops up from the salon sideboard for entertainment and the main deck dining table lowers and converts to a large comfortable lounge for family movie night. The La Motion 48 “clubbing yacht” can be enjoyed in just about every weather condition!

The forward extended roof provides shade and ceiling LED lights for the large foredeck lounge with an adjustable backrest that lays flat for sunning or up for reading and enjoying the view. Outdoor air-conditioning** adds further comfort on hot days. The cockpit also features flexibility with the aft seating that easily converts to a large sun lounge by flipping down the backrest cushions. The extended aft roof overhang has underside LED lighting to light the cockpit area for evening socializing. The top cover of the innovative outdoor galley slides to the side to become a serving counter or bar for two.

The La Motion 48 is powered by efficient twin Mercury Verado four-stroke outboards that can attain an estimated range of 250 NM at a 10-knot long range cruising speed. A third Mercury Verado outboard is available as an optional upgrade. Maximum speed is up to 45 knots, based on triple outboard configuration.
