About Regal Boats

Regal Boats is an all-American, family-run company which was founded by Paul and Carol Kuck in 1969. Throughout the decades, their children and grandchildren have taken the helm, continuing to focus on the strong ethos of quality boats and excellent customer service. Regal Boats builds luxury family sports boats and cruisers, and while today it is one of the largest brands in the country, it has retained its core values as a family-run business. 

Regal Boats has received many awards throughout its five decades of operation, including the J.D. Power and Associates Awards for Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Small Runabouts and Express Cruisers, accolades it has been awarded multiple times throughout the years. Its boats have also won Boating magazine’s Boat of the Year (for the 2016 29 OBX model). 

In 2008 Regal launched its first 52-foot yacht and built a new yacht manufacturing plant to accommodate this new range alongside its existing facility in Belle Isle, Florida. This was again expanded in 2023 to keep up with the huge development and demand. In 2016 the acclaimed Surf Series was launched, and in 2018 it introduced the Sports Activity Vessel series. 2024 has seen the SAV series expand further and is bound to be a new era for Regal Boats. 

Model Ranges/Models of Regal Boats

With over 50 years in the industry, Regal Boats has built a vast range of models. Today these incorporate a wide variety of boats, with some series honoring the brand’s legacy of sports boats and cruisers, while others lead the way in new sectors. 

The current lineup includes some 40 models across six ranges. The 14 models of bowrider are divided into outboard and sterndrive options, offering boats which are multi-functional and versatile. These sports boats have built on the successes of the brand over the decades and today offer true luxury and family fun. With swim platforms, sports towers, edge-to-edge seating, the latest in technology, and high performance, they are some of the best in a highly competitive sector. From the compact 20-foot 2000ES to the expansive LX36 and LS36 models, there is a huge choice and virtually unlimited ways to customize. 

Another range which has stood the test of time and exemplifies Regal Boats is the Express Cruiser series. With six models ranging from the 24-foot LS4C to the 33 XO, these are luxurious family day and weekend cruisers. All offer a cabin, while the larger models offer convertible accommodation and dining options, a galley, and head. Features such as beach access (by way of fully trimming the outboards), wraparound swim platforms, lounge seating, and an on-deck refreshment center are just the tip of the iceberg.

The Regal Boats yacht series—launched almost 10 years ago—is one of its fastest growing, and spelled a new horizon for the brand. Today it boasts 10 models ranging in size from 36-foot (available as the Grand Coupe and XO) to 42-foot (available as the Grand Coupe, XO, FXO, and Fly). The yacht series builds on the successes of the brand’s cruisers, taking the luxury and performance even further. Within this range are also the 38 Grand Coupe, the 38 XO, 38 Fly, and 38 FXO. Features include hydraulic swim platforms, Seakeeper stabilization systems, indoor/outdoor design with multiple dining and seating options, spacious aft staterooms, and large windows to allow natural light in. 

The Surf and SAV Series bring another new dimension to Regal Boats. With precision, high performance, and versatility, they offer cutting-edge technology and clever features aimed at both watersports enthusiasts and families. Features include custom wave-shaping technology, 2,500 pounds of ballast, Volvo Penta Forward Drive props, power hard tops or power towers, and surround sound audio.
